I chose this image because of the slogan, “Nurses are the heartbeat of medicine”. Nurses show leadership every shift they walk into, they take charge and advocate for their patient. Nurses are the heart of the hospital, they keep it all intact and functioning and that is why I want to become a nurse; I think this image does good getting that idea across. I do not know a nurse I am drawing from my own experiences; when I go to the hospital I see a doctor once and it is the nurse who is caring for me the remainder of the time. Nurses connect with their patients on different level than doctors which gives them the advantage of providing the patient with specific care plan for them.
